We had a fun activity at our house this month… Our dog, Rocky,  turned 2 years old and we had a birthday party for him with 28 people and 15 dogs. It was a wild party and all the dogs had a ball playing and eating their Frosty Paws desserts, while we had birthday cake.

We love to hear about what you and your animals are up to. Feel free to email us at AnimalConn@aol.com with details on your adventures and include a picture if you can.

From the Horse's Mouth - Feature Article
Learning from the Animals

I consider Animal Connection’s mission, in part, to educate people about animal communication. This happens through the sessions I do, as well this newsletter and lectures that I give on animal communication.

However, I always marvel at how much the animals educate me. They tell me about how they perceive their lives, what purpose they have in life and many other facets of their lives. They also seem to “orchestrate” this knowledge to make sure that I receive the information I need at an appropriate time. After all the years I’ve been doing animal communication work, it still amazes me how they seem to bring things together.

As an example, I was asked to communicate with Zoe, a beautiful black cat, in March 2009. Zoe had recently passed away at a the young age of 3 and her person, Sara C. of Long Beach, CA was devastated, as would certainly be expected.

Zoe told me that before she came to earth from her spirit body, she knew that she would not be here long. She told me that she chose Sara as her person because she felt that both of them could learn from their experiences together, although she realized that the experience for Sara would be difficult.

Zoe said that the circumstances of her life caused Sara to make choices and think a great deal about the love Sara had for her. Zoe said that although this was difficult, it was also a good experience for Sara. Zoe told me that it may not have seemed like her death was a good experience at the time, but she felt that later Sara would look back on situation and realize all that she learned.

Zoe then went on to tell me about the special skills she has in the spirit world and how she is
training others to have these skills as there are not that many souls who do her type of work. Zoe then told me that she works with animal souls of non-domesticated animals who are trying to achieve a higher level of learning and understanding so that they can become domesticated animals in their next lives in order to serve their lives with people. Zoe said that recently a lot of these animals have returned to the spirit world and need guidance. She said that in particular there was a lot of killing of these animals before they completed their purposes on earth and now she has to help them deal with the aftermath of this killing.

Although I was curious as to what killed all these animals, I definitely got the sense that Zoe did not want to share this information. Being respectful of Zoe’s wishes, I didn’t press the point, although I got the sense that there was a large fire.

Right after I sent the communication report with Zoe to Sara, I opened another email from a client who lives in Australia. It was an absolutely beautiful slide show about two koalas who were saved in the horrible fires that they had there. Then it dawned on me....Were these the animals that Zoe was helping? I went back to ask Zoe and she confirmed that these were the animals she was working with.

What a session of learning and it truly did seem that Zoe orchestrated this learning to allow it to unfold in a way that really made an impression on me.

This session was very special for me and filled with learning. Thank you, Zoe and also Sara for giving me the opportunity and privilege to communicate with Zoe and share the learning that she shared with me.

A Good Laugh

A man pulled into a crowded parking lot and rolled down the car windows to make sure his Labrador Retriever had fresh air. She was stretched out on the back seat, and he wanted to impress upon her that she must remain there. He walked to the curb backward, pointing his finger at the car finger and saying emphatically, "Now you stay. Do you hear me? Stay!"

The driver of a nearby car gave him a startled look. "I don't know about you, mister," he said incredulously. "But I usually I just put my car in park."

"People leave imprints on our lives, shaping who we become in much the same way that a symbol is pressed into the page of a book to tell you who it comes from. Dogs, however, leave paw prints on our lives and our souls, which are as unique as fingerprints in every way."
